JRL calls for shutdown on Jul 7 Condemns shifting of Asiya Andrabi to Delhi

Joint Resistance leadership (JRL) comprising Syed Ali Geelani, Mirwaiz Dr. Mohammad Umar Farooq and Mohammad Yasin Malik taking a strong note of shifting Asia Indrabi, the iron lady of our freedom movement, along with her two associates, Fehmeeda Sofi and Nahida Nasreen to Delhi by the Indian National Investigation agency (NIA) and called for a complete shutdown on 7 July 2018 Saturday.

In a statement issued to K24X7, the leaders condemned the ‘brazen and dastard action’ of NIA and termed it the worst form of political vengeance and vendetta against the resistance leadership.JRL made a fervent appeal to the nation to observe complete shutdown and maintain civil curfew on 7 July 2018 against the shifting of Asia Indrabi and her associates to Delhi by the NIA.

Srinagar: Several locals including women were allegedly beaten by government forces soon after vehicle of 55 Rashtriya rifles was targeted on Watchi Darbagh road on Friday.
Talking to media, locals alleged that an hour after blast took place in the area, forces barged into many residential houses and beat up family members and ransacked other property as well.

This isn’t about Article 35A or delimitation: Omar on operational alert of forces

Srinagar: Former chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir Omar Abdullah on Friday said that putting of Army and Airforce on high alert is about something very different and not about article 35A or delimitation.
Mr. Abdullah wrote on his Twitter handle, “What “on going situation” in Kashmir would require the army AND the Air Force to be put on alert? This isn’t about 35A or delimitation. This sort of alert, if actually issued, would be about something very different.”
