Tral militant attack: Injured SSB personal succumbs in military hospital

Srinagar, Oct 21: An SSB personal who suffered serious injuries on Sunday evening in a militant attack at Midoora area of Tral in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

Militants fired on Security force establishment at Midoora in Tral,” a police officer told GNS.
In this incident, a security force personnel identified as Ct Vijay Kumar was injured who was subsequently shifted to army’s 92base hospital hospital for medical attention however the said official succumbed to his injuries, he said.
Police has registered a case and investigation has been initiated, he added. (GNS)

Srinagar: Former chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir Omar Abdullah on Friday said that putting of Army and Airforce on high alert is about something very different and not about article 35A or delimitation.
Mr. Abdullah wrote on his Twitter handle, “What “on going situation” in Kashmir would require the army AND the Air Force to be put on alert? This isn’t about 35A or delimitation. This sort of alert, if actually issued, would be about something very different.”
