SSA Teachers protest in Anantnag

Teachers hundreds in number protested in Anantnag against the non-cooperative attitude of the govt for not fulfilling their demands. A demonstration was organised by teachers forum Anantnag and SSA teachers urging govt to delink the salaries of SSA teachers. Starting from sports stadium Anantnag the demonstration ended in Deputy Commissioner’s office complex and later on a memorandum was presented to DC Anantnag by the members of teachers forum and SSA teachers. Talking to media District teachers forum president, Showkat Ahmad said if demands of teachers are not fulfilled they will lock out the schools and govt will be responsible for all consequences.

One the eve of Jumat-Ul-Vida and Shab-e-Qadr, Traffic Police issues route plan

One the eve of celebrations of Jumat-Ul-Vida on 8th of June-2018 and Shab-e-Qadr on the intervening night of 11th/12th of June 2018, the devotees (zayireen) coming from different places towards Ziyarat Dargah Sharief Hazratbal shall follow the following route plan:
NORTH KASHMIR:   Vehicles coming from North Kashmir carrying devotees (Zayireen) after reaching Shaltang shall adopt the following route to reach Hazratbal, Shrine:

SHALTANG – PARIMPORA – BEMINA BYE PASS – BEMINA CROSSING – QAMARWARI – CEMENT BRIDGE – NOORBAGH – SEKIDAFAR – EIDGAH – ALIMASJID – SAZGARIPORA – HAWAL – ALAMGARI BAZAR – MILL STOP – MOLVI STOP (LAL BAZAAR) – BOTSHAH MOHALLAH – KANITAR – UNIVERSITY PARKING FROM SIR SYED GATE.

 SOUTH KASHMIR:   Vehicles carrying devotees (Zayireen) coming from South Kashmir after reaching Panthachowk shall adopt the following route to reach Hazratbal, Shrine:

PANTHACHOWK – STONE QUARRY(ATHAWAJAN) – BATWARA – SONWAR BAZAR – RAM MUNSHI BAGH- – GUPKAR – GRAND PALACE – ZETIYAR GHAT – NIS…
