Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir state board of school education will declare the result of class 10 annual regular today evening.
A communique of J&KBose informed that the result would be declared from 7 pm onwards.

The result, he said, shall be available on www.jkbose.ac.in and indiaresults.com.

Guv office receives 35000 grievances Highest number of complaints received against PWD, PHE, SSB, Police Department

Jammu, Dec 26 : The Governor’s grievance cell has received 35,322 grievances of which 34,313 have been forwarded to concerned authorities for the address.
An official here in the civil secretariat told this Kashmir News Service (KNS) correspondent that highest number of complaints have been received against Public Works Department, followed by Service Selection Board, Public Health Engineering, and Police Department. “There are complaints about corruption and embezzlement of funds in these departments,” the official said.
A lot of complaints have also been received against lack of electricity in various areas. Most of the complainants say that they witness frequent power cuts and the Power Development Department is not adhering to its power curtailment schedule.
The Rural Development Department has the most number of complaints related to poor implementation and corruption in Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA) and Indra Awas Yojna (IAY).

Masrat Aalam not presented before court: ML “Authorities tarnish image, stature of its own judiciary”

Srinagar, Dec 26  Muslim League Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday said that Masrat Alam was scheduled to be presented before Forest court, but the authorities again did not present him before the judge for trail. 
“In this week Masrat Aalam is scheduled to be presented before additional district and session judge, chief judicial magistrate, 4th additional judge and Passenger court for hearing of frivolous charges against him and is about to get clean chit and release orders from court now, that is why authorities are deliberately doing it under a plan so that he is not released by the court.” It is an attempt to prolong his illegal detention, said a spokesperson of Muslim League in a statement to KNS.

ITBP trooper killed, 34 others injured as bus plunges in Ramban

Srinagar, Dec 25: One ITBP (Indo Tibetan Border Police) trooper was killed and 34 others were injured when a bus they were traveling in met with an accident near Khoni nalllah on Srinagar-Jammu highway on Monday.
Reports reaching GNS said that the bus carrying 35 ITBP men off the road near Khoni Nallah and rolled down into a deep gorge. “They were returning back after being deployed for election duties in the recently concluded panchayat polls in the state”. Station House Officer (SHO) concerned Vijay Kotwal told GNS over phone that one personnel of ITBP has been killed while 29 others have been evacuated so far and removed to the nearby hospital.
